Review of MGM Signature Hotel in Las Vegas – March 2019

Today we are headed to Vegas again, for our 2nd Babymoon!

A little backstory, my wife is pregnant with our 2nd baby. Due to scheduling confilcts, we had to pick a specific date to go…. we ended up going in the middle of March madness 2019 :/ It Honestly wasn’t too busy, but a tad more than usual.

We ended up booking a good deal on lhrcollection.com again for the food credits

We did get a good deal on the Vegas app for the Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grille restaurant inside the MGM. There was a minor inconsistency where they might not honor our deal but our waiter was pretty cool and was able to get that ordered saving us about $17 for one of the entrées. Overall it was good and the mai tai drink was especially great.

We decided to walk the strip a little bit and I ran into O’Shays bar/club where it is located inside of blank hotel. I remember going here when I just turned 21 and it feels like the place has not changed at all. Complete college experience but for all ages.

As pictured here we also did go on the Ferris wheel thing that we bought on Groupon. It was a great experience and pretty affordable. If my wife wasn’t pregnant we definitely would’ve taken advantage of the all you can drink package which last roughly about 35 minutes or so. You see the entire strip and almost all the hotels from this huge elevation. When we got in there there is only two other couples that were quiet and polite and enjoyed the sites as well. Would definitely do it again and probably take a vantage of the all you can drink add on.

We also went to the German restaurant which many people have been telling us to go for several years. They have beer drinking contest and I have some very authentic German food like Wienerschnitzel and whatever. I had a big beer and a half and my wife had something here in the picture. I would definitely come here with a large group as the table seating accommodate. There is a Hyatt Place right next-door where you can easily walk to you if you were staying in the neighborhood. Only 7k points/night. Quite a good deal away from only 8 mins off the strip.

We saw the David Copperfield show inside the MGM and I could not have honestly been more disappointed in all my life. Illusions were fairly decent not that I can detect anything but I could tell by the demeanor on David’s face that he was wanting out of his contract. Really quite sad honestly I would definitely not recommend this in the future if it is something you are considering. Very cheesy.

Cool feature over by the outside patio of New York New York in between the Park MGM is a nice sitting area where you can watch live concerts and stuff like that. Would definitely recommend chilling there next time…

Overall a great experience and got one final hurrah before our daughter was born. Next time we will probably be with the kids but able to drink this time 🙂 have fun guys stay safe out there!
